A handy and easy-to-use app to make GIF files in your browser. Drag & drop existing images or a video file in the app UI (top section), then click on the - Make GIF - button. Wait to see the result and then click on the - Download - button to save the resulting image. You can also adjust several settings related to the GIF image from the right sidebar.
To work with this web application, simply drag & drop your image files or a video file to the input area above, or click on the input area to open the file I/O popup window and then select your files. Then, adjust desired settings related to the GIF image (right sidebar). For example, the width or height of the image or time interval between images in the final GIF. Once settings are done, please click on the - Make GIF - button to generate the GIF file. The time to finish the process depends on the input source and also your machine specs. In general, making a GIF file from a few images is a lot faster than a single video file. If the speed is not satisfactory, try increasing the number of workers (the last setting) and see if the speed improves or not. Once the GIF image is ready, you can save the file to your machine by clicking on the - Download - button.
GIF Maker app is also available as a browser extension. As an extension, this app does not need an internet connection and can be used offline in your browser. Download links for three popular browsers are as following: Chrome, Opera, Firefox.
