Podcast Player Prime is a lite and easy-to-use app, designed to play and download audio podcasts. It has a built-in search tool that uses the iTunes database to search for specific keywords. Moreover, you can add a podcast feed by a feed URL. Also, there is a - topchart - section which you can use to add a few pre-defined and popular podcast episodes. Each of these features is explained in the following.

To start working with this app, please read the instructions for the app from the above. When there is no podcast item added to the subscribed list, the help section above will be shown instead. As mentioned above, please first press on the (+) button and add/search a podcast feed. Then, open the player page and play a podcast episode. This app will save the list of all subscribed podcasts to the local memory (localStorage). Currently, it cannot store the images or audio data to memory, therefore, every time you load the app, all the images and the active audio are fetched from the internet. To clear the app storage, please head to the settings tab in your browser and then click on the - Clear History - button. Please note that to fetch podcast data, this app uses - rss2json - third-party API (api.rss2json.com), which has limitations for the number of fetched podcasts per hour. If you see any errors in fetching podcast data, please wait for a while and try again. Alternatively, try to add this app as an extension to your browser (see links below). As an extension, this app does NOT use any third-party libraries for fetching podcast data and hence there is no limitation in downloading podcasts from the internet.
