A handy and easy-to-use app to make QR codes in your browser. It uses a fast and reliable javascript engine to generate QR codes from any text as an SVG image. The app has a history of the last 10 QR codes. Click the download button to download the SVG file to your machine.


This web application is designed to make QR codes via native HTML5 tools in your browser. It uses a JavaScript API called qrcode.js. This API is available for all modern browsers and has relatively reliable and fast performance. This web app is not using any other third-party libraries or servers and, therefore, it is safe to use in terms of privacy and security. We do NOT send or store your file(s) in any remote server; everything runs locally on your machine (browser). This web app can be used on any machine that uses modern browsers such as Chrome, Firefox or Opera.

To work with this web application, simply type your desired text in the designated text-area in the app (bottom section). Then press on the right-arrow button next to the text-area. A QR code for the input text will be generated at the top section. You can download the QR code as an SVG image in your browser by pressing on the download button. Every time you make a QR code, it will be stored to the memory; click on the left sidebar to see all the stored items. In this version, only the last 10 QR codes are kept in memory. Once you click on each item, it will be rendered on the main screen and you can download the SVG via the download button. As mentioned above, this app uses a simple and fast QR code generator engine in pure javascript language. Therefore, it can be used in any modern browser in desktop or mobile machines.
