Screen Recorder

With the screen recorder app, you can easily record your computer's screen (desktop), or a specific window. Simply click on the - Start - button and start recording. Currently, it works only on desktop machines. But in the future support for mobile devices will be added.

Please wait for the app to loads completely. Then start the recording by pressing the - START - button. By default, recording the video is from your desktop (screen), and recording the audio is from the system (i.e. speakers). If you want to change these settings, please mark a desired option from the app interface and then press the - Start - button. After clicking the start button a popup screen will appear to allow you to select the desired monitor, tab, or window. Once all options are selected, please click on the - Share - button to start the recording. This app uses the new recording API (navigator.mediaDevices.getDisplayMedia) built into the browser engine. Since this API is new, it might have some bugs or limitations. Please report any problem via the contact form on this website.

This app is designed for both mobile and desktop machines. However, in mobile browsers, the new recording API may not work properly. In the future, it will be fully supported in all browsers (mobile and desktop). Currently, it works all on modern browsers for desktop machines. The extension version uses a different API (chrome.desktopCapture.chooseDesktopMedia) which is more flexible than the new one. So, if you want to use this app with more options available, please follow the links below to add it as a browser extension.

This app is also available as a progressive web application. Please load the app in a browser that supports PWA, then follow the instructions to add the PWA to your mobile device. The first time you load the app, it fetches the data from the internet so it might be a little slow in loading. But, the next time you open the app it loads much faster as, all the data are cached in the memory. Screen Recorder app is also available as a browser extension.
